About Margie
Margie Pullo Breese grew up in Mattapoisett and attended Center and Old Hammondtown schools, and then the Junior High and High School as well.
In 2012 Margie worked as a field organizer for Senator Elizabeth Warren’s first campaign for the United States Senate. After graduating from UMass Dartmouth, she joined now-Governor Maura Healey’s first campaign for Attorney General.
Margie then had the privilege of working at the Attorney General’s office, where as a part of the Policy & Government Division she managed Game Change: The Patriots Anti-Violence Partnership. This grant program trained thousands of students and educators across the state in healthy relationships and bystander intervention, forged connections between schools and sexual assault and domestic violence programs, and distributed hundreds of thousands of grant dollars to schools and SA/DV service providers across the state.
Margie, her wife Elizabeth, their sons, and their dog and cat live in the Brandt Beach neighborhood.
