Margie grew up attending Mattapoisett schools. She knows firsthand the power & possibility that great teachers and school environments provide.
As a school committee member, Margie will prioritize:
Collaborating with school leaders to expand experiential learning
Advocating for increased local aid from the Fair Share Amendment
Building connections with and seeking feedback from students, families, and teachers.
From our family to yours
Margie, her wife Elizabeth, their sons, and their dog and cat live in the Brandt Beach neighborhood.
Margie grew up in town and attended Center and Old Hammondtown Schools, and the junior high and high school. She graduated from UMass Dartmouth with a degree in Political Science.
She and Elizabeth moved back from Boston to build their family here in 2018.
